@Judy Shook - remind me of where you are? I will add you to my list. I know we will be gathering in Texas near Austin in January, then back at my house in Appomattox, VA in April, then likely jump into one of @Leah Rampy’s gatherings in the summer months, then join in with @Corey Turnpenny’s Wild Roots Festival in the fall near Binghamton, NY. I am thinking you are just south of me in NC or SC but my old brain is failing me. My husband and I love traveling the Blue Ridge south in the winter months and it would be great to grab a cup of coffee if we are in your area. We are planning a trip south in a few weeks.
Thank you for your hospitality and giving us an opportunity to slow down, connect with the world around us, and to enjoy amazing food with good company!
So thankful for your "Sure, I'll try it out" attitude! Also, I'm really glad a few of our VoA students came. There is such a lovely intersection between heart for the earth and this deeper work of reconnecting earth and soul. It feels like Abi, in particular, comes alive when we focus on reconnection. I am really excited about Stars, Soup and S'mores!
Allison - I am thinking between the "mini-retreats" our friends at Voices of Appomattox and their earth-focused events will help us build a group of earth-rooted friends. Can you help spread the word about Stars, Soup and S'mores? It would be great if you and Gregory joined us next Friday. here is the FB post about the event: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19ct591KJU/
It sounds like a wonderful experience! Please add me to your invitation list. If timing and distance work, I just might join you in person.
