Yes, yes, yes, Wendy. I so understand the call to "product" and "efficiency" that our dominant worldview keeps inviting. I've made those mistakes too - perhaps too many to even recall. Trees are individuals AND forest, and we witness time and again how they choose community. Thank you for this compelling reminder.
